Biography
Born in Miami, Florida, Emily moved to Scottsdale at a young age where she grew up and attended school. She graduated Chaparral High School in 2011 and currently attends Arizona State University as a freshman at the W.P. Carey School of Business. Her interests include animals, volunteering, architecture, computers, design, and photography. After graduating, Emily hopes to get an internship possibly working in marketing or as a graphic designer.
Artist's Statement
I love being hands on when creating any piece of work. My favorite place to be is the darkroom, working on perfecting my images. I am greatly inspired by the youth in our nation so I often try to convey the essence of adolescence, innocence, and rebellion in my photographs and artwork. Film photography will always be a great passion for me and I hope to always find a way to incorporate it into my life.
